I plug all of my chargers (ipod, cellphone, laptop etc) into one power bar that can be turned off when I’m not using it to avoid standby power usage.

when i go to shoppers drug mart and other stores that offer products for our well being, i make sure i get the one’s with ecologo on it or the unsented products with natural essential oil such as lemongrass and lavender; because, its much safer and wouldnt have impact on the environment when i use such products. when its washed down the drain and goes into our streams, it wont have any impact on the water that we drink. Also i like to unplug my lap top, ipod and stereo cable when not in use, since it would be wasting energy if i do so.
