The Library is not using disposable cups. We have a supply of ceramic cups for tea and coffee. We also re-use binders and hanging folders. The library also gets most of its furniture from the college surplus.

I wash my clothes in cold water and hang them up to dry. We also lowered the heat in the house in the winter and put an extra sweater on. I compost all of my kitchen scraps to be used in my garden.

To reduce my carbon footstep, I try not to use my car on the weekends and use the TTC. My water bottle is made from corn plastic and it has a built in filter for tap water. For groceries, I re-use the plastic bags that I have and I also use cloth bags as well.

To reduce my carbon footprint, I park my car on the weekends and take the Rocket of the Subway. I also try to buy products with less packaging, so I buy in bulk. My water bottle has a built-in filter for tap water and it made from corn plastic that I buy from a health food store. I carry bags with me to grocery shop.
