We use a small toaster oven whenever possilbe instead of the larger oven range.

We lowered the thermostat temp on our water heater to save energy. Why heat water only to mix with cold water when having a shower? Besides, our dishwasher and washing machine have built in heaters to locally heat the water if needed.

We set our dishwasher to delay start and wash dishes overnight when use is lowest. We also use green detergent and only run it when full every few days.
